Dr. Lino Panetta
Director of Clinical Services

Dr. Lino Panetta is a 1989 graduate of New York Chiropractic College, and has over 25 years of experience and maintains an active chiropractic, rehabilitation, and sports injury practice in Nepean. He is a Chiropractic consultant for a number of Independent Evaluation Facilities and has performed Independent Assessments since 1996.

Dr. Panetta’s post-graduate training continued at Canada Memorial Chiropractic College where he went on to become a Fellow in the Royal Chiropractic College of Sports Sciences. Dr, Panetta subsequently published The BackTracks Program: a Spinal Rehabilitation Manual for Patients. In conjunction with the YMCA, Dr. Panetta developed the Y-BackTracks Program which certified personal trainers and provided chronic back pain sufferers with a safe, effective transition from onsite rehabilitation in our clinic into a community based exercise and fitness program.

Dr. Panetta is on the Board of the Canadian Society of Chiropractic Evaluators, is certified in the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (4th), and has been an evaluator at the Workers Safety & Insurance Board Regional Evaluation Centre at the Ottawa General Hospital for a number of years.

Dr. Mateo Lino
Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Mateo graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto as a Doctor of Chiropractic and previously a graduate from York University’s Specialized Honours B.Sc. in Kinesiology & Health Science.

Dr. Mateo’s Chiropractic career is centred around finding the best outcomes for patients recovering from sports & spinal sports injuries, while optimizing their health and performance, with a hands-on and drugless approach. Dr. Mateo is also GLA:D Canada (Good Life for osteo-Arthritis in Denmark) Certified and is currently leads our Tuesday and Thursday classes. GLA:D is a break-through program, emphasizing patient education and group-based functional and neuromuscular exercises focused on patients who have osteoarthritis in their knee(s) and/or hip(s) and are attempting to prevent or prepare for joint replacement.

In the past, he’s been involved with Toronto Rehab Institute’s Acquired Brain Injury and Musculoskeletal Departments, providing care to patients recovering from brain and nerve injury due to stroke, motor vehicle accidents, or concussions, and patients recovering from hip and/or knee replacement surgeries.

During his internship at CMCC, Dr. Mateo did his Chiropractic internship at St. Michael’s Hospital Family Medicine Clinic out of Toronto co-managing chronic pain patients, at CMCC’s Campus Clinic seeing athletic injuries, and at the Aptus Treatment Centre for Complex Disability seeing adults with neuro-developmental disabilities. He also has over 7 years experience in the fitness industry, having worked as a Personal Trainer.

Dr. Mateo provides Diversified Chiropractic Adjusting, Spinal and Extremity Joint Mobilizations, Muscle Release Therapies, Instrument-Assisted Therapies, modalities and is experienced in functional exercise programs. Having been passionately involved with sports from an early age, he has seen his share of injuries and has gained a great perspective on the importance of a proper rehabilitative plan. He currently also works with Ontario Soccer Association’s OPDL as Medical Therapist, providing on-site emergency support to injured athletes. In his free time, Dr. Mateo is involved with the running community in Ottawa and continues to compete in road races and marathons regularly.
