What to expect on your first visit?

At BackTracks, we recommend that new patients arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time in order to fill out health forms and to become familiar with our clinic’s office policy and procedures. We welcome new patients on an emergency basis, and also accept patients who have been injured in an auto accident/whiplash or at the workplace/WSBI.

Our experienced support staff will be pleased to assist you in completing the appropriate paperwork that is required by insurance companies.

Once forms are completed, a Chiropractic Specialist will perform a detailed initial assessment, which includes a consultation, a complete physical examination, and a review of all required diagnostic testing (i.e. x-rays, CT Scans and MRIs). Should the diagnosis of your condition required x-rays or advanced imaging (i.e. MRIs), your Chiropractic Specialist will provide you with a written referral and review the results with you before the start of any treatment.

At BackTracks, a physician referral is NOT necessary for treatment. Although our services are not covered by OHIP, most extended health care, auto insurance, and WSIB plans do cover the majority of treatment costs in our clinic.

The Canadian Chiropractic Association produced a great video for New Patients to Chiropractic.
